The Rolls Royce Story 

Founded by Henry Roice in 1884 as an electrical and mechanical business, Rolls Royce has become an engineering frontier in the world. In 1904, a car engineered by Royce was produced in collaboration with Charles Rolls was also created. 

Rolls and Royce merged to become the Rolls-Royce company following the growth of their collaboration. During the commencement of the First World War in 1914, the company moved into aero-engineering and designed “the Eagle”. The eagle powered the military aircraft. 

In 1931, Rolls Royce progressed with its aircraft technology by developing the famous “R engine” and establishing a new air speed record. 

In 1998, rights to Rolls-Royce motors were bought by Volkswagen from Vickers. To further its airline innovation, Rolls-Royce designed Trent 100 in 2006 which was perfect for the Boeing 787. 

In June 2021, Rolls-Royce commenced a zero-carbon initiative to maintain the environmental sustainability. Roll-Royce continues to innovate with every product marked by the distinction of the special Rolls-Royce touch.

These tests can take as long as ten days to complete and include; situational judgment, measurement of competency, verbal and numerical reasoning, and rules and interrelations. 

Graduate and internship applicants are then required to undertake on-site interviews. These interviews are in three stages which are; competency interviews, presentations, and group activity. At the end of the interview sessions, applicants are offered a quick final assessment.

The ad involved two controversial Chinese internet celebrities and was widely criticized in China for its poor quality. A lot of Chinese potential buyers promised not to patronize the brand in the future stating that it did not represent the value they expect to see from the brand. 

After numerous criticism against Rolls Royce for not performing their due diligence, they withdrew the ad from Weibo - the Chinese social network.
