Your role

What you’ll do:

The Training Co-Op is responsible for developing technical on-the-job (OTJ) training manuals for equipment.  The Training Co-Op must work directly with production employees to document all aspects of running and troubleshooting the equipment.  Employees should be able to use the training manual as a stand-alone document to support their technical needs while running the equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Observe all aspects of running a piece of equipment.
  • Document key technical instructions for operating equipment in an organized manner including tables, pictures, and videos as needed.
  • Work with production employees to resolve top faults or equipment errors.
  • Document key troubleshooting instructions for the most frequent faults or errors unable to resolve.
  • Ensure SHEQ and Performance standards are maintained through the training.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop sustainable training.
  • Coordinate and schedule training as needed.
  • Ensure tracking and documentation control of training records, procedures, and forms.
  • Perform generalist activities: Some examples include- employee events, investigations, etc.
