Jazz Pharmaceuticals purchased EUSA Pharma in 2012 to extend its reach in Europe. The company formed a profitable merger with Azur Pharma that ensured its expansion in technology, employee numbers, and management team.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals has steadily grown since its inception acquiring rights to several medications along the way.

In 2014, Jazz Pharmaceuticals acquired Gentium SPA, a special disease developer for $1 billion, and two years later, it acquired Celator Pharmaceuticals for $1.5 billion.
Thanks to its acquisition of Celator Pharmaceuticals, the company developed an advanced treatment for acute myeloid leukemia.

Till today, Jazz Pharmaceuticals continues to make strategic acquisitions and deliver innovative medical options for diseases with few treatment options.

Recruitment Process

As a company that looks to consistently innovate how they approach developing favorable medical interventions, Jazz Pharmaceuticals boasts a thorough, consistent, and fair recruitment process.

The first step in recruitment at Jazz Pharmaceuticals requires prospective graduates and interns to submit resumes that speak directly to the roles that interest them. Submitted resumes are then reviewed and matching candidates are selected.

Selected graduates and internship applicants are then required to undergo a phone interview where they expand on their relevant skill sets, experiences, and personal traits. They are also required to demonstrate how these skills translate to working with Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

The final aspect of the recruitment process requires graduates and internship applicants to attend an in-person interview. This interview is sort of an expansion of the telephone interview and allows applicants to interact with in-house workers and demonstrate how they fit into the work culture.

Graduate and internship candidates who are a great fit for the company in culture, innovation, and talent are offered roles in the company.
