Your Role

As the Supply Chain Optimization Intern you will be challenged to develop skills in statistical analysis, simulation, supply chain, and optimization modeling while developing skills in data manipulation in python, SQL, Excel, and PowerBI. As an Intern, you will perform the following function-related activities and key responsibilities:

  • Collect Data, perform statistical analysis, and develop recommendations on current state line speeds and what capacity utilization Coca-Cola should plan to.
  • Pick up where a senior design project left off and help CCNA re-evaluate what manufacturing line speeds should be based on historical data.
  • Evaluate optimization model extracts to service cross-functional partners with data to improve precision and accuracy across the supply chain.
  • Complete root cause analyses to explain to cross-functional partners what model outputs mean and what the implications of those results are for them.
  • Develop skills in excel to do quick analyses that can be shared and presented with internal customers such as Finance, Co-manufacturing, transportation, and planning.

The annual compensation for this role ranges from approximately $37,000 to $88,000.

About You

Qualifications that are important to be considered for this role are:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • Coursework or project work in supply Chain, Optimization, Simulation, and Data analysis.
  • Functional skills such as Integration & Automation of Data Feeds and Sourcing Databases, Statistical Analysis, Presentation Skills, PowerBI, Reporting, Optimization, and Supply Chain Concepts.
