Justin [00:00:00] So what's probably like the single best piece of advice that you would give to a prospective student or grad looking to go through the grad programme application to help them succeed?Â
Tyler [00:00:10] So I would say if you want to apply to be a graduate at a company, I think it's really important to research the other opportunities that they provide. So in my case that was the vocational student programme. So I did that while I was in my second year of uni and got to know the company, got to know the people and then when it came around time to, to apply for the graduate programme, you know I was more inclined to, to apply to EQL and pick that one at the end and I think yeah, just, just showing that you're interested in, in the company and understanding that values will go a long way in that final interview process when you're applying to be a graduate and also knowing sort of yeah, knowing that those values and for example a massive company value at EQL is safety because we have a lot of field crews that work on sort of live lines and electrical equipment. So a big focus of the interview was how would you ... demonstrate ... or "Tell me about a time that you demonstrated like a safe, safe work practise. Or you showed safety." And just knowing, having a few of those scenarios in your head ready to go is very helpful. So yeah, just, just know those values and know how they apply to you and know how you can apply those values as well.
