About the Risk Management  and the Information Management team:

The Risk Management team at PwC involves promoting integrity and compliance with laws and regulations and managing risks related to regulations, litigation, and reputation.

The Information Management team focuses on technology solutions to mitigate external threats, such as digitization and data management, with a focus on analytics and technology development.

Job Description:

The Data Protection Office (DPO) is responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, maintaining client trust, and protecting the firm's data and reputation. The internship involves providing support to the DPO team, contributing to day-to-day operations, and gaining hands-on experience in data protection initiatives.

Responsibilities as an intern:

  • Assist with updating policies and guidance with a view to efficiency through the use of technology.
  • Assist with updating content on internal data protection portals.
  • Assist with the automation of operational activities.
  • Assist with building data protection web portals, creating content, and data migration.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects.
