Your team:
The Manufacturing Engineering team, based in Reedsville, PA, consists of 30 engineers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. The Manufacturing Engineering team collaborates closely with Operations, R&D, Purchasing, and Q&R locally and globally.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Based on the successful candidate’s experience and educational background, he/she, after a brief orientation, will be assigned an independent project(s). These projects range from process development, cost reductions, improving quality, or improving business practices. The candidate will be expected to research the issue, develop a solution, and implement that solution. At the end of the project, the students should expect to present their findings, recommendations, and results to peers and management.
Interns will gain hands-on experience in resolving manufacturing and quality issues, implementing cost-reduction projects, and executing design verification activities. You will also learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams, support new process transitions, and coordinate the installation of manufacturing equipment, enhancing your skills in problem-solving and process improvement.
The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00, plus overtime eligible. The base pay may vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
