Your role

What does the work look like?

The Product Supply group is responsible for the manufacture and delivery of all their products. It's the bread and butter of what makes P&G such a great company to work for. From the first day on the job, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with their  R&D and Manufacturing groups.
They're looking for a few different interns in the Product Supply space:

  • Instrumentation Engineer
  • Laser Process Engineer

The group collaborates across the organization including Research & Development for new product design and Manufacturing for ongoing production in their global manufacturing centers. The group is multi-disciplinary including electrical hardware (cameras, sensors, lighting), software (image processing, signal processing, controls integration) mechanical design (optics, fixtures, gauging), and lasers (process development, safety, equipment integration). 

Instrumentation Engineer

Instrumentation Engineers develop instrumentation systems including machine vision and signal analysis to inspect critical product characteristics during and after their manufacturing processes to verify product and process quality. Typically these are electrical, mechanical, or industrial system engineering roles.

Laser Process Engineer

 Laser process engineers develop laser systems as part of their manufacturing process. Typically these are electrical, mechanical, applied physics, or photonics roles.

Training & development

Salary & benefits

The salary for the role will range from $29.00 to $55.00 per hour.

About you

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates seeking a BS/MS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, and Photonics or Engineering are preferred.
  • Other BS/MS majors that may be considered are Applied Physics.
  • Are 1-4 years away from Graduation (Engineering school/University).
  • Successful candidates will be willing to travel on the job.

Just so you know:

  • All positions are entry-level management interns/co-ops.
  • This position is Boston, Massachusetts-based.
  • Procter & Gamble generally seeks to hire individuals that are in good standing at their university and/or field of study, this typically means people with an overall G.P.A. of 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale.
  • The co-op duration is 12+ weeks starting around July or August.
  • They provide relocation support to get you where they need you.
