- During the 12-week internship, students work closely with mentors and sometimes collaborate with other interns and researchers as well.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Participation in the Research Internship Program requires that you are physically located in the United States or Canada for the duration of the internship.
- You’ll need to submit a minimum of two reference letters for this position. After you submit your application, a request for letters may be sent to your list of references on your behalf.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop original research ideas.
- Strong programming skills (C++ / Python).
- Knowledge of congestion control techniques and transport layer protocols – various flavors of TCP, UDP, WebRTC, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with Reinforcement Learning techniques.
- Experience and ability with modifying and testing various transport protocols.
- Understanding and experience of real-time streaming for the video.
- Experience with simulators such as NS2.
