Your role

The intern will work closely with researchers, postdocs, and engineers to investigate an existing project or a new project agreed upon with their mentor. The work will involve system design, implementation, evaluation, algorithmic thinking, machine learning (designing architectures, training models), human behavioral experiments, data collection/analysis, etc. The intern need not work on all of these aspects, but may instead focus on areas of strength or areas where they would like to learn and grow.

About you

  • Must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in computer science or a related STEM field.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • Experience designing/training models in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, CNTK).
  • Willingness to explore unchartered territory; ability to think unconventionally to devise creative and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other lab members.
