Your Role

  • Responsible for leading several simulation projects, including working with stakeholders to define scope, inputs, and outputs.
  • Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and implement L’Oreal environmental programs.
  • Work with L’Oreal’s internal and external stakeholders to develop simulation expertise.
  • Drive to complete simulation projects throughout the year.
  • Develop internal CFD expertise.
  • Drive to complete projects and provide out-of-the-box resolutions to challenges. 
  • Independently prepare regular progress reports providing a clear overview of activities.
  • Ensure timely communication of blocking points, delays, and status to support teams and management.

Salary & Benefits

The pay for this role is $53,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Career Progression

You learn to model fluid flow in CFD software and lead 3-4 simulation projects from start to finish throughout the year. You’ll learn to effectively interface with internal partners, manufacturing plants, and vendors.

About You

  • Must have graduated within the past 12 months with an undergraduate degree* or enrolled in your senior year at a 4-year undergraduate college or university with a concentration in engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred).
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or chemical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CAD and CFD software.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization.
  • Good attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Self-directed. Advanced Degrees.
  • Relevant Industry Certifications.
  • Experience with systems for CFD (ex: Simcenter STAR-CCM+ software).
  • Soft Skills if applicable (i.e., project management, communication, time management, detail-oriented, etc.).
  • Hybrid Work Policy (3 Days in Office, 2 Days Work from Home).
