Your role

  • Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Firmware Engineering Co-op (FPGA Design) for Fall 2023.
  • In this role, you will support design and architecture development, implement FPGA designs, and integrate and troubleshoot designs.
  • The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of FPGA design and troubleshooting. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Compensation & benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. The salary range for this position is between US$88,351- US$92,732. About you

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with Electrical design & troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with FPGA programming using Verilog, VHDL, or similar
  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance
  • Excellent Leadership / Communication / Team Skills
  • Familiarity with common laboratory engineering tools including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, digital multi-meters, and other support equipment
