Salary & benefits

The annual salary for the role at this company will be from $100,000 – $110,000.

About you

Research is fast-paced, demanding, and intellectually stimulating. They look for candidates who are eager to learn, inquisitive, and curious and possess strong critical thinking, quantitative, and communication skills. A well-rounded academic background is important in your undergraduate studies. You certainly don’t need a degree in Economics or Finance, but interest in markets and comfort with numbers and financial statements is required. 

Beyond that, what they’re most interested in are the things that make you, you: the personal qualities, outside interests, and achievements beyond academia that demonstrate the kind of person you are and the perspective you could bring to the team. 

Key skills include: 

  • Proven analytical skills, and experience with quantitative and data analysis.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and economic data and trends.
  • Ability to multi-task and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Attend college/university in the U.S.
  • Expected graduation date of December 2025 – June 2026 from Bachelor’s or Master’s program. 
    • If you are pursuing a Master’s degree, it must be within 2 years of receiving your Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
    • To be eligible for this program, you must be enrolled in a degree conferring program at a U.S. university. JPMorgan Chase will assist with F-1 STEM optional practical training (OPT) and curricular practical training (CPT).

  • Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your projects.
