About the program:

The Chase Leadership Development Summer Analyst Program (“CLDP”) is a vigorous 9-week introduction to their Full-time Program. The summer is centered on providing a comprehensive look at Chase, with their Summer Analysts focused on matters that are value-added to their business and have a real-life impact on their customers.

Both their Summer and Full-time Programs are designed to deepen your knowledge of Chase through exposure to their business units:

  • Auto, Business Banking, Card Services, Connected Commerce
  • Consumer Banking, Data and Analytics, Digital Product & Experience, Finance
  • Home Lending, J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Marketing and Communications
  • Control, Operations, Risk Management, Strategy

CLDP Summer Analyst projects may include:

  • Utilizing data analytics to measure operational effectiveness, support risk/reward-related business decisions, as well as assess and forecast profit.
  • Driving product development through the lifecycle - testing, iterating, measuring, and marketing new and developing features.
  • Project management efforts for high visibility of their brands, inclusive of marketing & media initiatives.
  • Evaluating and quantifying business strategies in line with regulatory controls; and 
  • Developing innovative solutions to key business cases by collaborating as needed across the business, product areas, and functions (ex: Engineering, Brand, Legal, Compliance, Finance, UX Design, etc.).

Training & development

The CLDP Analyst Program at JPMorgan offers a dynamic 9-week training initiative designed to prepare participants for the Full-time Program. During this immersive experience, CLDP Analysts receive targeted training to enhance both business acumen and professional/technical skills. With the support of a dedicated program manager, mentors, and senior leaders, participants benefit from a robust network, ensuring they are well-equipped to seize the abundant opportunities available. Regular feedback, coaching, and personalized peer mentoring sessions contribute to the development of each participant's unique professional brand, fostering a memorable and impactful summer experience.

About you

Additional skills and criteria include:

  • Preferred minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0.
  • Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th year M.A. or M.S. degree with an expected graduation of December 2024 or June 2025.
  • All majors considered!
  • Coursework in Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Analytics, or Information Systems a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, responsive team players who can thrive in a dynamic and changing collaborative environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • An interest in supporting innovative financial products and services of the future.
