Your Role

  • Operate both independently and collaboratively to complete activities such as tool/mold design, manufacturing planning, and process data analysis to achieve desired project outcomes. Success in this position requires defining the process steps and process boundaries to ensure producibility while meeting customer requirements and part form, fit, and function.
  • Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
  • Create and execute plans that produce learnings and/or products to customer expectations.
  • Participate in efforts that enable successful CMC to perform manufacturing in a low-rate production and lab environment.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives; work collaboratively
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Training & Development

Leveraging GE’s rich training and development culture, the ‘Brilliant Learning’ curriculum is custom-designed and adapted to individual site needs. It will include seminars, workshops, online courses, and a series of immersion boot camps on lean manufacturing practices, advanced manufacturing, and additive and other digital technologies transforming the industry. Instead of solely classroom learning, many components of the training will be hands-on and held in the manufacturing sites.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated total pay for this role ranges from $91,000 to $132,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
