Your role

About the Internship

Their internships are unique in that you will work on a substantial project with one-on-one guidance from one of their many experts in the Animal Health product development and research field. 

You will have the opportunity to network with other students in their program as well as get exposure to senior leaders in their company and their parent company, Colgate-Palmolive. And you’ll get paid while you learn! In your downtime, learn how to network and ask their leaders about their experiences to gain greater perspective and learn how you can fit into their family.

About the team:

The Hill’s I&S Interns will work closely in a cross-functional team with Corporate Quality, Manufacturing Sites, Procurement, and other R&D scientists.  Their interns will contribute to initiatives directly related to ensuring Hill’s products remain on the shelves and continue to deliver the highest quality and balanced nutrition to continue to delight their pets and their pet parents.

Training & development

As an Intern in Implementation & Support, you'll receive comprehensive training tailored to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in providing technical assistance and implementing solutions. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, you'll actively contribute to projects while honing your problem-solving abilities and gaining valuable insights into software implementation and customer support processes.

Salary & benefits

The expected compensation hourly pay range is $20.50 - $30.75/hour.

• Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year.
• Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements).

About you

Who are you?

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s/Masters/MBA/PhD program in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Ability to work in the United States on a permanent and unlimited basis.
• Mobility and ability to relocate to Topeka, Kansas for the summer.
