About the role:

Citi’s Banking Group seeks Summer Analysts to join the Capital Markets team (CMO) in NAM. The CMO group collaborates with corporate and government clients to develop, structure, and implement financing packages to meet their capital needs. With over 16 different groups, this division offers traditional Investment Banking experiences alongside a focus on dynamic markets, resembling Sales & Trading.

About the Internship:

As a Capital Markets Origination Summer Analyst, you'll undergo an intensive training program covering various topics essential for the Analyst role. Immersed in Citi's culture, you'll gain hands-on experience during the 10-week program, starting with a week of training followed by nine weeks on a specific desk. Networking opportunities with peers and local charities enhance your experience.

Your time here will look something like this…

  • Contribute to overall fixed income and equity relationships.
  • Work and interact with corporate clients.
  • Originate, market, structure, and execute fixed-income and equity transactions.
  • Demonstrate ways to limit interest rates and credit risk through the use of derivatives.

Training & development

The CMO Summer Analyst Program aims to cultivate talent amidst economic changes, equipping interns with knowledge and skills to innovate capital-raising methods for companies and governments. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience contributing to fixed income and equity relationships, working directly with corporate clients, and participating in the origination, marketing, structuring, and execution of transactions. You will also develop skills in risk management through the use of derivatives to mitigate interest rate and credit risks.

The annual salary for the role at this company can range from $100,000 - $135,000.
