About Cisco

Cisco is an American technology company, operating worldwide, that is best known for its computer networking products. As a company that sold its products mostly to other businesses, Cisco did not become a household name, but in the second decade of the 21st century, it was one of the largest corporations in the United States. Cisco helps seize the opportunities of tomorrow by proving that amazing things can happen when you connect the unconnected. An integral part of its DNA is creating long-lasting customer partnerships, working together to identify customers' needs and provide solutions that fuel their success.

Your Role

  • You’ll develop software and tools in support of many high-impact technology platforms such as operating systems, networks, databases, and more.
  • You'll play a crucial role in driving next-gen software innovations including cloud, mobile, desktop, or security spaces.

Training, Development & Rotations

Career development programs are a strategic priority because it enables Cisco to retain top talent and recruit the sorts of people who can help the company stay competitive and move forward with its plans for transformative global networking. Cisco’s My Learning Network offers online education for all employees that is mapped to professional skills and job roles. Your financial wellness matters. Cisco wants to help you plan for the future, protect the people you love, and make the right financial decisions for you. Cisco goes beyond the usual benefits and perks such as employee discount programs, flexible work practices, a fun fund for team bonding, mind training for creativity and focus, employee resource organizations, medical coverage plan, housing assistance, and generous paid time off and holidays. Cisco offers competitive compensation that ranges from approximately $137,900 to $203,100 per year. The salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire salaries in U.S. locations.

Career Path’s job agent feature allows employees to select and store criteria relevant to their career interests, then receive email notifications when career opportunities match their criteria.

Work-Life Balance

Cisco intentionally cultivates an inclusive work environment where employees can thrive and innovate, and Cisco can win. That’s why over 30,000 of its employees around the globe participate in Inclusive Communities - 28 Employee Resource Groups where employees encourage each other to network, develop leadership skills, serve as change agents, and learn to be informed allies to various cultures and perspectives. Allies are welcome in all of these spaces. 96% of employees at Cisco say it is a great place to work at Cisco compared to 57% of employees at typical US-based companies.

Culture & Vibe

Cisco has worked hard to build a culture of full-spectrum diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. Core values – to connect everything, innovate everywhere, and benefit everyone. Cisco believes it makes good business sense. These core values guide the company and demand that take a stand against actions that threaten the equal rights, safety, and dignity of its people, both inside the company and in the communities where they live. These values are also part of Cisco's People Deal – a strategy that is a contract that articulates what the company expects from its employees, and what they can expect from Cisco.
