Your Role

  • Logging soil and rock borings – Training will be provided.
  • Preparing boring logs using gINT and/or hole base.
  • Reviewing laboratory test results.
  • Assisting the geophysics team to collect geophysical survey data.
  • Performing design calculations for pavements, shallow and deep foundations, short-term and long-term settlements, slope stability analyses, and retaining walls.
  • Prepare engineering reports and memoranda.
  • Performing construction oversight.
  • Adhere to AECOM safety culture and maintain a safe work environment.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is from $56,000 to $77,000 yearly. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment which include but are not limited to the:

About You

  • Enrolled in a BS/MS in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Must have completed one year of studies.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Basic understanding of the concepts of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
  • Basic understanding of geotechnical logging and design software.
  • Ability to write software codes.
