Your Role

• Work under the direction of senior engineers to provide product R&D support for the NEMA Motors business.
• Learn the basics of the design and testing of industrial electric motors.
• Contribute to design team efforts to model new or revised designs or design components. The primary modeling tool is SolidWorks. Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD is also beneficial.
• Support of manufacturing of prototypes or samples as required. Become familiar with basic manufacturing principles.

Salary & Benefits

The salary rate for this role ranges from $46,000 to $75,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

About You

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Curriculum.
• 0-2 Years of experience with electric motors or other rotating machinery.
• Familiarity with basic Microsoft tools (e.g., Word, Excel) is necessary.
• Good communication skills and teaming skills.
• Experience with solid modeling tools is required.
